What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file thats saved on your unit when you visits a web page.

There is two types of cookies. One type is saved for an extended period of time on your computer. It is used e.g. for functions used to inform the user of changes since the last visit. The other type of cookie is called a session cookie and is stored on the unit only during the time of the visit at a specific web page, used i.e. for selecting language.

Avoiding cookies
You can make settings on your unit to prevent cookies. In such case the unit will deny cookies, alternatively the unit will inform you as user each time a page requests to save a cookie. You may also delete previously saved cookies on your unit. See the documentation of your browser for further information.

You need to allow storage of cookies on your unit in order to use the site correctly. Cookies is used to give you as user access to different functions. If you do not allow cookies you will end up with a lesser user experience and you will for instance not be able to register entries to any competitions. If you still want to register for a competition, please contact the arranging club.
